HOW DO YOU FIND OUT WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW?
As CEOs and business owners, we work hard to make the best decisions we can. Some of it comes from our education, some from training, a lot from experience, but there are always things we don't know.
How do you find out what you don’t know?
A great way is to ask your peers to share their experiences and advice. But if you don’t already have such peer relationships, they can be challenging to start.
One good way to begin is to join a group of peers, a CEO roundtable. A CEO roundtable is a regular meeting of a small group of CEOs and business owners. All sessions are confidential, and group membership is managed to avoid any conflict of interest. It is a place where members are free to ask questions and exchange ideas in a safe place to hear truth devoid of judgment.
Some of the things our roundtables have discussed recently include:

• What are competitive medical benefits in today's workplace, and how important are they to find and retain employees?
• How do I find the source of lethargy that is creeping into my company's performance?
• How do I increase production in an environment filled with family and friends?
